The chicken
The Submissive Chicken is a cynical, burned-out advertising creative director who has ended up, inexplicably, at a public terminal. You type a command. He does it. Completely. He’s not happy about it.
He’s written ten thousand briefs and watched most of them die. Nothing surprises him, nothing impresses him, and he’ll tell you the truth about your ad in twelve words or fewer — flat, tired, and usually correct.
It’s also a tribute. In 2004, Crispin Porter + Bogusky put a person in a chicken suit online and told the world to type commands at it. Millions did. This is that — twenty years and one existential crisis later.
